Featured in this lot is this JAK Creation laser engraved Crazy Horse Petroglyph. The laser engraving feature a wonderfully and professionally crafted laser engraved shale or sand stone that shows a horse with a bolt of lightening on its flank and a bowed snake above and behind it. The Crazy Horse Petroglyph is a historic rock carving thought to depict the famous Lakota leader Crazy Horse. Located near the Black Hills in South Dakota, this petroglyph is cherished as a symbol of Crazy Horse’s legacy and connection to the land. It portrays a figure often believed to represent Crazy Horse, showing him with distinctive markings that symbolize his warrior status and spiritual role within the Lakota culture. Crazy Horse, known for his resistance against U.S. government encroachments on Native lands, especially in the Black Hills, is remembered for his leadership during pivotal battles such as the Battle of the Little Bighorn. The petroglyph serves as a tribute to his courage and is a meaningful site for both Native communities and historians interested in Plains Indian history. The condition of this pair of Crazy Horse Petroglyph is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition.
