For your consideration is a Jay Tschudy Limited Edition Signed Native American Frontier Trade Knife Metal Art Sculpture, #6/250, artist's signature on reverse. The mixed media copper and brass sculpture features an enamel painted Native American Frontier Trade Knife and Scabbard with metal leaves, metal sinew strips, and metal bead work in a traditional geometric pattern. Colours of turquoise blue, navy blue, white, red, and gold. Arizona artist Jay L. Tschudy is a descendant of the Blackfeet Native Americans. He is a self taught artist and over the years he has sculpted in mediums such as stone, woods and clay, but being born with only his left hand he finds it more of a challenge creating his art with copper, brass and steel. His artworks are currently represented throughout the country and various places around the world in private collections and on display some of the finest galleries nationwide. Stunning piece of textural detail, this metal art sculpture captures the essence of Native American culture. Measures 6.75"W x 20.5"L, weight 14oz.
