For your consideration is this original watercolor painting done by Livingston, Montana artists John and Karen Garre circa late 1900s. John and Karen Garre, lifelong artists, have spent more than a decade living and working in Montana. Their depictions of the American West grace the walls of prestigious houses and businesses around the country. Their finest pieces are on display at the Garre Fine Art Gallery in downtown Livingston, Montana. The watercolor painting shows a woman posing for a portrait as she looks to the left of the viewer with a stern look on her face. She is wearing colorful clothing such as a light red jacket and a light blue shirt or blouse. The painting is signed in the bottom middle in pencil reading, "Garre". The painting is set in a gold colored frame and sits behind glass. It is matted once with white matting paper. It shows good condition overall with no wear or major damage noted. The visible art measures 9 3/8" L x 7 7/16" W, while the entire piece measures 15 9/16" L x 12 9/16" W x 1 1/8" D. It weighs 2 pounds and 2 ounces.
