Featured in this lot is this museum rendition photograph and resting place or grave marker's for Johnny Ringo from Tombstone, AZ; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona by was of donation by Jerry Sanders. There is one framed museum rendition photograph and four resting place or grave marking stones authenticated by The Tombstone Western Heritage Museum as being from the resting place of Johnny Ringo. The collection comes complete with two original museum tags that read as follows: Stones from off of Ringo's grave - Donated by Jerry Sanders. Jerry Sanders is best known as the owner who granted permission for tours of the area around where Johnny Ringo (a legendary cowboy from the American Old West) was said to have died, according to The Tombstone News. These tours were related to Johnny Ringo's connection to the Clanton Gang and the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, events that took place in Tombstone, Arizona. The condition of this collection of Tombstone stone markers is well preserved with no obvious signs of unnatural damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this collection of rocks range from 5 3/4" x 9 3/4" x 5 1/4" to 4 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 2" and the framed photograph of Ringo's grave is 9 1/4" x 11 1/4" and the visible photograph measures 7 5/8" x 9 5/8". The collective weight of this collection is 14lb 12oz. MS-220
