Featured in this lot we have a Joseph Golcher silver accented percussion cap American long rifle chambered in .44 caliber. The rifle displays a 39" long octagonal barrel, brass trigger guard, curly maple stock, brass & silver accents, brass crescent butt plate, double trigger system, and warm patina. The lock plate is marked "Joseph Golcher" with the plate engraved with the image of a dog laying down surrounded by tall grass. The piece shows inlayed silver accents with a initialed medallion on the cheek rest reading "S.T.". The rifle shows good mechanical condition with a tight action. The piece shows good condition overall with some wear and marks due to age and use. No Serial Number. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
