Featured in this lot is this bronze sculpture done by Julie Branch in Montana in the late 20th Century. Julie grew up in the Dakotas, Colorado, Hawaii, and Montana. She has lived in Minnesota, Montana, and New York City. She now splits her time between exploring the woods and working at her studio outside of Rotterdam, New York. This sculpture shows a bear on the edge of a river, possibly looking fish. It shows great attention to detail and shows a light patina forming from its age. It is signed on the front reading, "Rivers Edge" and below its left paw reading, "Julie B.". The back is signed reading, "Montana Made". It shows good condition overall with wear present from its age and slight damage to the bears front claws. No other signs of damage noted. It measures 7 1/2" L x 9 1/2" W x 11 1/2" H and weighs 10 pounds and 2 ounces.
