In this lot is a handmade wolf house totem board. This board was handmade by Karen Williams of Livingston, Montana. Karen Williams is known for her artwork of the Pacific Northwest life and animals. Karen Williams was the owner of the famous Nugge Tuk Siberian Huskies Kennel. Her artwork of working arctic dogs is very well known in the dog fancier’s world. Karen did unique pieces of artwork as trophies for many national dog shows; for many years she was the artist for the famous Montana Race to the Sky 500-300 mile sled dog race. This totem board was done on rich wood in bright red, black, white, and turquoise colors. The board is topped with an eagle, has a wolf in the center, and a pup on the bottom. The back of the board has hanging hardware and an info tag about Karen's interpretation of the board. On the back is also a “Made in Montana” sticker, as well as an address label of Karen Williams and a copyright 2000 mark. The totem symbols are on raised pieces of wood in a high relief style. The totem measures 27" X 13" and approximately 2" thick.
