For your consideration is this well-crafted replica of a Thomas Ketland & Company flintlock pistol dagger circa late 1900s / early 2000s. This replica is modeled after a real and rare flintlock that Thomas Ketland & Company made back in the late 1700s / early 1800s. This replica is constructed from brass and steel with the blade showing an engraved foliage pattern. The faux ivory handle is decorated with beautiful scrollwork motif with portraits in profile. The end of the handle is adorned with a brass figural top made in the shape of a horse head holding a ring in its mouth. The ware is adorned with relief and engraved brass coat of arms showing a music book, trumpets and a small lap harp. The beginning of the barrel is marked reading, "Ketland". The firing mechanism works well and is smooth in its action. The piece shows good condition overall with little to no wear present and no signs of major damage is noted. The flintlock measures 16" L x 1 1/4" W x 3 1/2" H and weighs 1 pound and 8 ounces.
