For your consideration is this original Montana artist Kevin Red Star framed acrylic on canvas. Red Star was born in 1943 on the Crow reservation in south east Montana. He was born into a creative family and found painting and art at an early age. In the late 1960's he was chosen to be in the first group of students accepted into the Institute of American Indian Arts located in Santa Fe. He has since become a well known artist known for his paintings of Native Americans that are sought after by collector and gallery alike. The piece shows a Native American man in buffalo ceremonial headdress and painted face on a white background with a tan border. The frame is constructed from reclaimed wood and gives the piece a rustic feel. The condition of this artwork is good in great display condition with no damage to the wooden frame.
