Featured in this lot is this limited edition serigraph from Crow artist Kevin Red Star born in 1943. Red Star was born in 1943 on the Crow reservation in south east Montana. He was born into a creative family and found painting and art at an early age. In the late 1960's he was chosen to be in the first group of students accepted into the Institute of American Indian Arts located in Santa Fe. He has since become a well known artist known for his paintings of Native Americans that are sought after by collector and gallery alike. The artwork features a Crow man and woman embracing under the night sky with the moon shown high above them. Both of the figures show beautiful and colorful clothing. The piece shows wonderful detail in the clothes and faces of each individual. The piece is signed "Kevin Red Star" in the bottom right hand corner and is numbered 17/75 in the bottom left hand corner. The condition of this framed artwork is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this framed artwork is 37 1/4" x 32 1/2" and the visible art measures 27" x 22 1/2".
