For your consideration is a Kimber Government .22 LR Model 82 bolt action rifle. It was manufactured for the U.S. Army in the 1980s and later released to the public via the Civilian Marksmanship Program. The rifle has a "US" marking on the receiver, accessory rail on the underside of the forearm, adjustable hand stop, a walnut pistol grip buttstock with solid recoil pad, and three plastic spacers. The grooved receiver is marked on left side, "Kimber MODEL 82 GOVERNMENT". The 25” round blue barrel is marked on top, "KIMBER OF OREGON INC. CLACKAMAS, OREGON U.S.A", and is marked on left side, "Cal. 22 LR". The stock shows immaculate condition, while the barrel and receiver show trace amounts of patina forming. Serial Number: GM002093.
