Featured in this lot are a Northern Pacific Railroad Railway lantern collection and railway lock and key. There are two lanterns and one railway lock and key in this collection. The first item is a Dressel railroad lantern. This railroad Dressel red globe lantern is embossed on top with “Dressel Arlington, N.J.” and on the top side with “N.Y.C.S.” The red globe is also embossed with “Adlake Kero” and the bottom of the lantern reads, “PA. No. 2157081.” The second is a Star Headlight lantern with stainless steel construction and rotating carbon fiber handle. The lock and key shows brass construction with a swinging door to the lock opening and is stamped "Eagle Lock Co." The condition of this collection is good, with no obvious signs of damage and some wear consistent with the age of the lanterns. The measurements of the lanterns and the lock are 14 3/4" x 9 1/2" x 5 1/4".
