Featured in this lot is this knapped projectile point and stone tool collection circa Pre Columbian era. There are a total of three points, a scraper, and a hammer stone in this collection. There are two points knapped from the same red chert material one is ovoid and shows a serrated edge and the other is triangular and broken by the shoulders. The third point shows a cluster adena very small for this type of point by shows a rounded shoulders and a triangular point with almost straight edges. The scraper shows a cluster body with very sharply knapped edges constructed from a light grey flint material. The last piece is a round hammer stone used as a blunt object tool constructed from stone. The condition of this collection of projectile points and tools is preserved with one of the points clearly broken in half but the others showing no artificial breaks or wear. The measurements of this collection range from 2 5/8" x 1 3/8" to 3 5/8" x 2 1/4". The collective weight of these projectile points and tools is 1lb.
