The lot feature a fine Indian tanned hide fully top beaded strike-a-lite bag from the Lakota Sioux Native American Indians. The bag shows an Indian tanned hide construction with glass trade seed beads in a geometric pattern. The beadwork shows a greasy red background with patterns in chalk white, greasy yellow and cobalt. The top flap of the bag shows additional glass trade seed beadwork along with a brass metal concho button and rolled tin jingle cones. The bag shows a floral calico trade clothe inner lining and a braided Indian tanned hide top strap or belt strap. The piece is in very good well-preserved condition. Provenance: From a collection out of Big Sky, Montana from a Yellowstone Club estate. The bag measures 4”W by 13”L with strap and fringe.
