The lot features a large bronze sculpture done after the “Lane Frost” Memorium Bronze by Wyoming artist Chris Navarro. The bronze is not signed, an is done in the “after” style. This bronze is done in the pattern of the larger than life size “Lane Frost” bronze found at the entrance to the Cheyenne Frontier. The bronze shows wonderfully and professionally crafted bronze construction with great attention to detail to the bull rider and to the bull as its bucking. Done after the "World Champion Bull Rider Lane Frost" which is located at Frontier Park in Cheyenne, WY. Champion bull rider Lane Frost lost his life at age 25 competing in the 1989 Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo. The condition of this bronze is good with a single patina mark on the base but otherwise in good overall display condition. The measurements of this bronze are 55" x 48" x 21".
