This is a green canvas & brown leather canoe pack, commonly referred to as a Duluth pack in reference to the location of the primary manufacturer of this type of pack. Great for trips or backpacking anywhere on earth, a Duluth pack is a specialized type of backpack made of heavy canvas and leather. The packs are a traditional portage pack which are nearly square in order to fit easily in the bottom of a canoe.The pack contains one main interior compartment, is canvas lined, and has adjustable leather shoulder straps. The pack is in very good condition with only a few marks and scuffs throughout bag and light oxidation on rivets. The pack measures about 26.5" t x 27.25" w and has a 14.5" flap with three 21.5" long fully adjustable leather straps. The pack has no "set out" and so is envelope shaped.
