For your consideration is a beautiful shoulder mount Gemsbok, prepared by a professional taxidermist. Posed with the head in an upright, slightly left turned, alert position. It features beautiful brown, gray, white and beige hair color throughout. It has large brown eyes and large, long, straight horns showing rings on the bottom half and smoothing out towards the top half. The horns measure a bottom circumference of 6 3/8" and a length of 31 1/4". The gemsbok, or South African oryx, is a large antelope in the genus Oryx. It is endemic to the dry and barren regions of Botswana, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe, mainly inhabiting the Kalahari and Namib Deserts, areas in which it is supremely adapted for survival. The mount shows good condition overall with little to no wear present and no major signs of damage noted. It measures 33" L x 13 1/2" W x 45" H and weighs 21 lb.*
