For your consideration is this mid 20th century Sioux catlinite pipe and wood stem. The pipe shows a very large bowl and was crafted in the traditional "T" pattern and is made of solid catlinite pipestone material with dark red and light pink speckled coloring throughout. The piece is paired with the original solid hardwood stem that has a standard squared off pattern with slightly rounded top and bottom, which is slightly tapered in and out again at the gripping area; the stem also carries a well burnished, hot file branded finish. The pipe measures 29 3/4" L x 1 1/8" W x 3 1/2" H with a total weight of 12 ounces. Repair at the smoking tip.
