Offered in this lot we have a Mexico retablo Christ painting from the late 19th century. The piece shows the image of Christ holding a child in his left hand and a staff with a white flower on the top. The painting shows subdued red, yellow, blue, green, and a number of other colors. The piece is painted on a sheet of iron or steel. The piece is in good condition overall with some spots of discoloration. The piece measures 7 1/4" wide by 10 1/4" tall.
