Featured in this lot is a Sioux Indian Child's Bow and Arrow With Quiver, c. 1950's. The set features sinew string braiding, metal arrowheads, and polychrome painting. The Sioux are groups of Native American tribes and First Nations peoples in North America. The term can refer to any ethnic group within the Great Sioux Nation or to any of the nation's many language dialects. The Sioux comprise three major divisions based on language divisions: the Dakota, Lakota and Nakota (wikipedia). This set is in good condition for age. The bow measures 20" long and the arrows measure 12.25" long.
