For your consideration is this rare, Lenox Watch Company women's dressing table clock made in Switzerland, sold by Fleur de Lys in Paris circa 1920s. The face of the clock shows the retailer's name who would have sold the clock reading, "Fleur de Lys of Paris". The bottom of the clock face reads, "Swiss". Towards the bottom is an open space called a "heartbeat escapement". Open heart watches feature a cutout or aperture on the watch dial, exposing part of the movement beneath. This window, often shaped like a heart, reveals the balance wheel and escapement—two vital components of a mechanical watch. The bezel and stand are adorned with Mother of Pearl showing a nice, silver / white color. The clock is marked on the bottom of the stand as well reading, "Metal Dore / Brevet / 93017 / Lenox W. Co. / Swiss". It comes in its original double door box which shows a fair amount of wear from its age and use over the years. The clock can be wound and the hands changed with a dial on the the back, but the clock does not tick or work. Overall, the clock shows good condition with slight wear present but no signs of major damage is noted. The clock measures 1 3/8" L x 1 1/4" W x 2 1/2" H, while the case measures 1 5/8" L x 2" W x 2 7/8" H.
