The lot features a wonderful late-vintage sterling silver squash blossom necklace and earring set from Navajo artist, Leon Frances Kirlie. The artist name can be found as Leon Frances Kirlie, L.F. Kirlie, Leon F. Kirley, and LFK / L.F.K.. The necklace shows a sterling silver box chain strand with graduated bench made hand formed sterling silver Navajo pearl beads (also referred to as concho beads, bench beads) in a graduated form with five smaller beads on each side (ten total) and a total of 43 larger beads all with a ridged presses antique style concho. There are a total of 14 blossom pendants each with a fluted "blossom" end and oval polished cabochon of wonderful Blue Gem Turquoise. At the bottom shows the classic naja squash pendant with triple strand showing two bars of silver with a rope silver center set with three polished cabochons of Blue Gem Turquoise. The necklace is signed, "LFK Sterling". The necklace is accompanied by a set of matching blossom earrings, each with fluted blossom ends and polished cabochons of Blue Gem Turquoise in matching form. A wonderful late-vintage set in brand new condition. The necklace measures overall 27"L, squash pendant is 2.75" by 2.25", and earrings are 1 5/8"L each. Total weight of 100.3 grams.
