It shows a brown cloth cover with gold colored filigree on the front and back covers with black lettering on the spine. The book tells stories and accounts of what life was like for captured soldiers living in Andersville prison. It describes the arrival of prisoners, escape attempts, and other incidents as part of every day life in the prisons. The book is in good condition overall with some slight wear and discoloration in evidence. The book measures 7 1/2" tall by 5" wide and 1 1/2" thick.
