For your consideration is the 1st Edition 1875 book, "The Life and Explorations of David Livingstone, LLD", by John S. Roberts and published circa 1875. Dr. Livingstone famously explored Africa in search of the source of the Nile. His missionary travels led to his disappearance and untimely death in 1873. This book features a bright gilt decorated cover, tight spine, and illustrations throughout. It shows very good condition. The book measures 5.25" x 7.5".
