Featured in this lot is this cowboy jack knife made by Lyons Cutlery circa 1890's and found in Tombstone; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. This knife features a wonderfully and professionally crafted construction that shows an ornately carved handle and a folding blade that is marked as follows: Lion Cutlery Co. Germany. The knife is connected to a belt chain for security and to have the knife always on hand and usable. The knife comes complete with an original museum tag that reads as follows: Cowboy Jack Knife - Made by Lion Cutlery - Ca. 1890's. The condition of this cowboy jack knife is well preserved with very little oxidation adorning the knife with the chain showing more and a slight age patina to the outside of the jack knife but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this jack knife is 15 1/2" x 7/8" and the blade length is 2 1/2". The collective weight of this cowboy jack knife is 53.1g. LO35
