Featured in this lot is this bottle of Liquid Peptonoids or Liquid Food from The Arlington Chemical Co. found in Tombstone, Arizona Territory and displayed at the Tombstone Western Heritige Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The bottle features a wonderfully and professionally crafted brown colored glass construction that shows a cork in the top and a label on the front that reads as follows: Liquid peptonoids - Beef, Milk & Wheat (predigested) - Alcohol (By Volume) 17.95% - Proteins (Peptones and Propeptones) 5.25% - Lactose and Dextrose 11.3% - Cane Sugar 2.5%Mineral Constituents (Ash) 0.95% - Total Solids 20% - The Arlington Chemical Co. The condition of this Liquid Peptonoids medicine bottle is well preserved with the cork showing present and a solid compound stuck in the bottle with the label showing slight wear but overall in well preserved condition. The measurements of this bottle is 7 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". The collective weight of this bottle is 10oz. B89
