Featured for your consideration in this lot is a early 20th century Louis Vuitton shoe trunk, originating between 1915-1930. The trunk boasts Louis Vuitton Monogram canvas, and displays remnants of the iconic stripes. The luggage is trimmed with monogram leather edge protectors, and pass corner protectors. The inside of the trunk shows a golden Louis Vuitton serial tag, reading; "LOUIS VUITTON - PARIS. 70 Champs-Elysees - 149 New-Bond St. LONDON - NICE - CANNES - VICHY". The serial number inside of the label has become illegible. The trunk has four interior insert, capable of holding 16 pairs of shoes, or eight pairs of shoes, and four hats. Overall, the trunk shows very-good condition, with nice patina forming on the brass hardware, and nice canvas, displaying only light scuffs. The trunk is absent of its key. The trunk measures 24" wide, 15 1/4" deep, and 21" tall.
