Louis Vuitton Monogram Suitcase Circa 1926

This lot provides you with a Louis Vuitton suitcase, originating from around the first quarter of the 1900's. The luggage utilizes the iconic "LV" Monogram canvas on the exterior, and is lined with bright white canvas on the interior. The suitcase has brass rivets, and latches, each branded with the Louis Vuitton name. The main latch for the case reads "B.L.S & L.G - Patent - Louis - Vuitton - Made In France - 149 New Bound Street - LONDON - 080259 - 70 Champs Elysees - PARIS". Additionally, the piece is marked with an orange interior label, reading; "Louis Vuitton - 791107 - PARIS, 70 Champs-Elysees - 149 New-Bound St. LONDON". The trunk is finished with brass corner protectors, and leather monogram edge protectors. Open the case, and you can use the original luggage divider, with strap security. Overall, the case shows very good condition for age. The suitcase is absent of a key. The case measures 29 3/4" wide, 18 1/4" tall, and8 5/8" deep.
