Featured in this lot is a Lui Escoto Buffalo Dancer wire sculpture. Lui Escoto is a self-taught sculptor, who has been creating detailed wire sculptures since 1972. He is known for his depictions of Native Americans and cowboys. This sculpture depicts a Native American Indian buffalo dancer. The dancer is depicted holding a bow in his right hand with decorative eagle feathers. His left hand is holding a dance rattle with two eagle feathers. The sculpture shows wonderful detail and amazing art style. The piece is set on to a stone base and is signed in wire, "Escoto". The piece shows good condition, overall. The piece measures 20 1/2" tall by 11" wide.
