Featured in this lot is a pair of M/937 knife bayonets, with one coming with a sheath originating from the early 1900's. The Model 937 bayonets are designed to fit the 8mm Mauser short rifle. The first bayonet displays a good condition and is marked with "jwh 1849". The bayonet comes with a metal sheath with a leather frog marked "KVZ 1942". The second M/937 bayonet shows fair condition, showing more wear and the tip broken off. It is marked "cof 45" on one side and "1398 t" and shows wear across the piece. The bayonets measure 15" long with a 9 3/4" long blade; the second bayonet is missing 1/4" of the tip.
