This is an original Montana Territory Knives of Bozeman, Montana knife showing an artful Great American Bison Buffalo scrimshaw and inlaid with turquoise. The blade has been forged from 1095HC (High Carbon) steel and 15N20 Nickel Carbon which is then heated and folded into 396 layers creating the astounding “Damascus” steel. The knife shows a wonderful fire or tight feather Damascus. The hollow grind full tang blade has been paired with a set of nice white wild animal Buffalo bone grips scales which are inlaid with beautiful blue/green and black matrix Turquoise stones. The piece shows a wonderful finger groove design which indexes very well and feels good in the hand. Also finish with polished stainless bolsters and pommels and has two mosaic brass and copper pins. The knife shows a nice clip point wide bowie design. The tang and knife spine have been artfully hand vine filled. The knife is in brand new condition and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity along with a Lifetime warranty. The blade is marked with the “MONTANA TERRITORY KNIVES BOZEMAN MONTANA” stamping which shows the outline of Montana. The knife has been paired with a Great American Bison Buffalo leather hand crafted sheath. The knife measures overall 8 5/8” in length with the blade being 4” long. The sheath and knife together measure 9” long.
