The painting features a wonderfully and professionally crafted acrylic construction that features both Brown & Rainbow trout with the map of the river naming the riffle and pools, a portion of a flyfishing rig depicted at the top presumably laying on shoreline river rocks. The artist signature can be seen in the bottom right hand corner of the artwork with a numbering of 72/75 and shows six various tied flies scattered around the two trout. The world acclaimed and legendary Madison River in Southwest Montana is one of Montana's famous premier blue ribbon flyfishing rivers and the subject of numerous books, works of art and featured in movies.The Madison flows through one of the most scenic valleys in Montana and is flanked by the towering Madison, Gravelly and Tobacco Root mountain ranges.
