Featured in this lot is this Mallard plaques and decoy collection circa 1950 to 1960's. There are a pair of plaques and a pair of decoys in this collection. Decoy's on the plaques are hand painted and retain much of the original finish. Both drake and hen are in good condition and well mounted. The pair of vintage decoys reflect their age. Both decoys are hollowed out, and contain rings for attaching rigging. The mallard drakes head is position-able. The second decoy is presumed to be a ring necked duck and has a weighted keel. Both decoys have much paint loss. The condition of this collection is preserved with th decoys showing heavy wear due to age and use and there is some repair to one of the plaques with an overall well preserved condition. The measurements of this collection range from 8 5/8" x 15 5/8" x 3" to 7" x 13 7/8" x 5 3/8. The collective weight of this pair of plaques and pair of decoys is 6lb 8oz.
