Included in this lot is a Manhattan Arms Co. Hero percussion pistol. This pistol utilizes a 3”round barrel that screws into a brass frame, straight grain walnut grips, and a spur trigger. Mechanics are strong and crisp. Brass frame has faded stamp on left side: “HERO / M.F.A. Co.” Gun metal is clean and smooth; brass is clean with mellow patina. The left side of the brass frame is marked "Hero" over "M.F.A. Co." and the frame has a nice mustard colored patina. The barrel shows a dark gray patina. No Serial Number. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
