For your consideration in this lot we have a Marlin model 37 .22 pump action rifle with side mounted scope. The rifle was made by Marlin Friearms Co. and was in production from 1923 till 1931 when they stopped producing all pump action .22s. The rifle features a 24" round barrel, walnut stock and slide, and original blue finish. The gun also shows a tube magazine, along with the Weaver G4 scope mounted to the side of the frame. The top of the barrel is marked "The Marlin Firearms Corporation. New Haven, Conn. U.S.A. - Pat'd . U.S.A. Mar. 24. 1908. 2 Patents" and "22 S L & LR". The tang is marked "Marlin Mod. 37". The gun is in good condition with some minor wear on the stock and slide, with minimal blemishes on the barrel. Mechanically the rifle is fully operational with a tight action. Serial Number: 12215 This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic Long Gun, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
