The top of the barrel is marked “The Marlin Firearms Co. New Haven, Conn. U.S.A. Est. 1870 Model 88 – 22 Cal. Long Rifle Only – Patented –“. The barrel is also fit with a raised front sight and adjustable rear sight. This rifle is tube fed and the tube is accessible through the butt of the stock. The rifle has a straight grain walnut stock that shows good condition and tight fit. The barrel and receiver show good blue finish. No Serial Number. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
