Included in this lot is a limited edition print of “Columbia Gardens” by Martha U. Cooney, originating from 1996. The Columbia Gardens Amusement park was located in Butte, Montana and owned and operated by Butte Electric Railway Company from 1899 until 1928. It was purchased by the Anaconda Copper Company from 1928 until 1973. This painting depicts a crowd of people as they get on rides, including a roller coaster, merry go round, and others. The piece is marked in the bottom right-hand corner, reading "Martha U. Cooney c1996 Martha U. Cooney 137/300", indicating that it is a limited edition print. The art is set into a unique colorful frame with a red and blue border around the print. The piece shows good condition, overall. The frame measures 24 3/4" wide by 20" tall with the art measuring 18 1/4" wide by 13 1/2" tall.
