Featured in this lot is this Mexican sterling and alpaca silver inlay earrings circa 1950's to 1970's. There are a total of 8 earrings in this collection. The first pair of earrings shows a hammered silver concho spheres in a dangle design. The second pair is a beautiful dangle design made by a Taxco, Mexico artist with sterling silver earrings and inlaid chipped lapis lazuli and blue opal and is marked on the back as follows: TS-70 - Mexico - .925. The next pair of earrings is a silver pair of Mexican earrings with inlaid jet and abalone with a butterfly design to the earring face. The next pair of earrings is constructed from alpaca silver from a Mexican maker with inlay jet and abalone set into the earring face and is marked as follows: Mexico - Alpaca. The next pair of earrings shows a textured earring face and a clip design constructed from sterling silver and is marked on the back as follows: Sterl - Weiss - .925. The next pair of earrings shows a fish design constructed from sterling silver and inlaid with jet and brass with a clip design backing and is marked as follows: Mexico - NAB - .925. The last pair fo earrings is a Mexican dangle designed earring pair with a feather motif and oval cut abalone cabochon set into the face constructed from sterling silver and is amrked on the back as follows: Mex - .925. The condition of this collection of Mexican earrings is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this collection of jewelry pieces ranges from 1" x 5/8" to 3 1/4". The collective weight of this collection of jewelry is 74g.
