For your consideration is this original framed art by Montana artist Michael Stanish. Michael grew up in Montana on his parent’s ranch south of Great Falls and studied at Montana State University and University of Montana. He uses oils, watercolor, ceramic and steel to create portraits, landscapes and figurative works. Over the years Michael has participated in numerous shows and exhibitions including the CMR Art Auction, the Yellowstone Art Museum, Ducks Unlimited, Missouri River Fly Fishers Auction, Art in the Park, Beijing, China Cultural Exchange, The Loveland, CO Sculpture Invitational and many one-man shows. His works have been purchased for private and public collections throughout the United States. This painting shows a blue jay perched upon a blue post against a blue, tan and pink colored background. The painting shows good attention to detail and a nice contrast of colors. The painting is signed in the bottom right hand corner in white paint reading, "M. Stanish". The painting is set in a painted wood frame. The art and frame are in good condition with no signs of damage or wear present. The art measures 7 1/4" L x 9 3/8" W. The entire pieces measures 12 7/8" L x 15" W.
