Featured in this lot is a humpback steamer trunk originating from the mid 1800's. The trunk displays wood construction with leather tooled designs across the center. The trunk shows metal reinforcement across the top and corners. The top shows five wooden ribs across the top of the trunk. The chest shows its original leather handles on each side of the piece. The interior of the trunk displays paper with geometric designs. The trunk shows good condition overall, with some light wear due to age. The trunk measures 29 1/2" wide by 14 1/2" deep and 16 1/2" tall.
