Featured in this lot we have a steamer travel trunk originating from the mid to late 19th century. This trunk shows a painted metal exterior with brass colored accents and wood supports. The chest shows two brass colored front latches with the original lock having been removed. The interior of the trunk shows a wooden frame with a striped fabric lining. This trunk shows one of its two original leather handles and vestiges of the front leather straps. The piece shows good condition overall for its age, with moderate wear across the trunk.
