Featured in this lot is this Mid Century Modern pewter kudu with bell sculpture circa 1910-1930's. The sculpture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted pewter construction that shows the likeness of a kudu on a shield with a bell below its chin and shows scroll work decoration the outside rim of the shield. The condition of this of this pewter sculpture is preserved with some patina adorning the sculpture consistent with its age but otherwise shows a preserved overall condition. The measurements of this sculpture is 14 1/2" x 6 1/4" x 5 3/8". This piece comes with a stand. The collective weight of this sculpture is 5lb 2oz.
Provenance: From a prominent ex-Bozeman private collection who purchased the majority of his collection from Cowan's, Skinner, Bonhams, Morphy's, Sotheby's, March in Montana, North American Auction and other well revered auction houses.
