Featured in this lot is this framed and signed watercolor done by Wyoming artist Mike McRann. Mike McRann grew up painting with his father, Bill, a high school art instructor in Powell, Wyoming. He went on to acquire a degree in Art Education from Black Hills State College and spent three years teaching high school art in Powell. Mike has lived in Lander, Wyoming for almost 40 years and manages City Plumbing and Heating with his wife Lynn. Mike finds inspiration when exploring Wyoming's mountain ranges and basins. Outdoor adventures allow him to create a distinct perspective on Wyoming's renowned scenery. Mike prefers watercolors, acrylics, and oils. Mike was named best in show at the 2017-2018 Wind River Valley Artists' Guild Annual National Art Show. The painting shows a bouquet of flowers showing bright and vivid colors of pink, purple, blue, red, yellow, green, orange, light blue, light purple, black, gray and brown. The artist's signature can be seen hidden in the flowers in the bottom left hand corner in gray paint reading, "McRann". It is set in a wood frame and matted once with dark blue matting paper. The visible art measures 10 3/8" L x 13 1/2" W, while the entire piece measures 19 3/8" L x 23 3/8" W x 3/4" D. It weighs 5 pounds and 12 ounces.
