This lot includes the First Edition book , "Mining Camp Yarns" by Walt "Rags" Holliday, 1927 Black Rock Edition. A book about mining life in the "Richest Hill on Earth" as Butte Montana was known in the late 1800s and early 1900s, written by a former twenty year miner during that tie period. In the author's own words from his prelude, "I have tried, imperfectly enough, no doubt, to put into print portions of the miner's life; below the collar of the shaft, and above it. Also, as he beholds it." This softcover textured paper cover book is in good overall condition, covers have slight scuffing, intact pages exhibit age tanning and minimal foxing.
