Offered in this lot are two (2) Staffordshire Ware Grand Canyon National Park Souvenir Plates. One plate is labeled, "Fine Staffordshire Ware by Enco National", the colour pattern Blue Willow; the other is labeled, "Old English Staffordshire Ware, JonRoth England Bedford Potteries" with a colour pattern of mulberry purple and white. Both plates were made in England, and feature landscape scenes of Grand Canyon National Park. Staffordshire ware, lead-glazed earthenware and unglazed or salt-glazed stoneware made in Staffordshire, England, from the 17th century onward is a term used to describe earthenware manufactured in the Staffordshire region of England, encompassing a number of towns and manufacturers. Plates are in very nice condition, no marring noted on either plate, measure 10" diameter each approximately.
