This engraving shows a interior of a mine with various building locations of Comstock mine operations including: Sierra Nevada, California, Ophir, Calidonia & Overman, Imperial & Empire, Crown Point, Con. Virginia, Belcher, Justice, Gould & Curry, and Yellow Jacket. It also shows frequently used tools in the mines. The label reads as follows: Mining on the Comstock - Drawn by T.L. Dawes, 1876 and copyrighted 1877 published by J.B. Mashall, Gold Hill, Nev. Down at the bottom reads: Engraved & Printed by Le Count Bros San Francisco. The condition of this engraving is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall well preserved condition. The measurements of this engraving are 21 3/8" x 28".
