Presented in this lot is this Large Abstract Bronze Bull Sculpture, "The Bull" after Fernando Botero. This proportionally exaggerated bronze sculpture is characteristic of the abstract and representational style of Fernando Botero Angulo, a Colombian figurative artist and sculptor, born in Medellín , Colombia. His signature style, also known as "Boterismo", depicts people and figures in large, exaggerated volume, which can represent political criticism or humor, depending on the piece. He is considered the most recognized and quoted living artist from Latin America. This impressive bronze sculpture captures the strength and fighting spirit of the bull. The bull is depicted with its head raised high, ready to face any challenge. In many cultures, the bull is a symbol of increasing stock levels, making this sculpture not only a work of art, but also a good luck charm for businesses. This sculpture is in fair to good overall condition, repairs observed to both horns, rich patina exhibited throughout. Measures 24"H x 14.5"W x 30"L approximately, weight approximate 42lbs
