Featured in this lot is this Montana Blackfeet feathered leather headdress. The headdress features a wonderfully and professionally crafted feather and leather construction that shows dyed flared turkey feathers with blue dyed smaller feathers lining the inside of the headdress and shows strings of light blue beads at the front of the headdress. The headdress features a leather sheet top of the leather belt head band for securing the headdress to ones head. The backing of the headdress shows strips of trade cloth design that features trade ribbons set to the trade cloth. The condition of this headdress is fair to good with some wear to the head band of the headdress and is tied on using a leather string but otherwise is in fair to good overall condition. The measurements of this headdress 29" x 25 1/2" x 25".
