Featured in this lot is this set of beaded, hard soled hide moccasins from the Montana Crow Apsaalooke Native American Indians, dating to circa 1930's - 1940's. The set features a hard soled Parfleche rawhide sole with sinew sewn Indian tanned hide top and glass trade seed beadwork in a geometric pattern. The beadwork shows colors of chalk white, sky padre blue, and dark blue. The set shows hide fringe dusters at the rear and ankle with a rolled over top lip. The condition of these pair of moccasins is good, with a little wear that is consistent with their age; some of the hide strings show some wear from use, but are in good overall condition. The measurements of these moccasins are 3 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 4".
