Included in this lot is a pair of Montana Crow Native American Indian tanned hide, beaded gauntlets. The gloves are constructed of tanned hide and show a decorative trade cloth interior. The gauntlets of the gloves show a trade bead image of a geometric star with triangular lines on the back of the hand using dark blue, red, yellow, green, orange, and blue semi translucent glass trade beads. The gauntlets are additionally decorated with medium cut tanned hide fringe, draping off of the outsides of the gauntlets. The gloves originated from the Crow Indians during the mid-19th century. The gloves display good condition overall and measure 14" long, with the opening of the gloves measuring 8" wide.
